Positive Thinking

I am working so hard to get the next sale and it doesn't seem to be happening. I make 25 - 35 calls a day. And now I am going to be going off into a new category - to invorgate me - Homeland Security and Lobbyists. Sounds interesting, yes but I think I may be more excited about the reseach because I can't seem to close anything. My boss said not to worry, that it will all happen at the same time. I have plenty of leads - they just won't close.

I was speaking with a girlfriend yesterday and she said to imagine closing 3 deals this week. Getting the signed contract and seeing how pleased my boss will be. It's all about attitude. I like it. I will go ahead with her approach that I will close something today.

Dinner tonight at Vicki's - I am secretly hoping she will make fried pork chops but I won't ask because it isn't on my 'diet'. Although if that's what she cooks I'll have to eat it.....please please make them!!!

Tony is joining the Civil Air Patrol - first meeting tonight and he is also signing up for Angel Flight. He said it will make him a better pilot. I am sure it will but I also think he really wants to do to someting to contribute to this 'world". He is such a good man and I am very proud of him for making this commitment.
